Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a Sales Engineer for our Woodlands, Singapore team. The role focuses on identifying new project and sales opportunities, delivering technical presentations, and aligning solutions with customer needs in the engineering sector.

The position requires a diploma in mechanical engineering, at least one year in technical sales, and strong communication and negotiation skills. A Class 3 driving licence and willingness to visit customers are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in technical sales or engineering sales.
• Able to understand technical requirements and prepare quotations.
• Comfortable with customer visits and new-business development.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment or project-based sales is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new project and sales opportunities while growing new and existing customer accounts.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations on products and solutions to prospective and existing customers.
• Understand customer requirements and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
• Work closely with Sales Support and Application Engineers on customer and project requirements.
• Provide sales and first-level technical support for customer inquiries, deliveries, issues and feedback.
• Recommend suitable products and prepare quotations based on RFQs and technical requirements.
• Manage project sales activities from enquiry through quotation, follow-up and order closure.
• Prepare regular sales pipeline, project and performance reports.

Up to S$4,200 Monthly Basic Salary + Commission + Up to S$1,000 Transport Reimbursement/Allowance + Variable Bonus
