Job summary
Dow Jones Risk is seeking a Manager, Sales Development to build and lead a team of Sales Development Representatives, overseeing the generation of new business opportunities and the qualification of leads to support the sales pipeline. You will manage team performance, drive strategic sales initiatives, and ensure successful prospecting strategies in a player-coach role.
You will lead by example, scale a team through all phases of targeting and attainment, and align with regional sales targets.
Qualifications
- 7–9 years of sales or business development experience.
- Proven ability to lead and coach a team.
- Strong proficiency with Salesforce and CRM tools.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Development Professionals.
- Identify and qualify new leads to achieve revenue goals.
- Analyze outreach to optimize results.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to execute growth plans.
- Partner with marketing for strategy alignment.
- Establish standard methodologies and scalable processes.
