Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Manager of Sales Development to build and lead a high-performing SD team within the Risk Sales group. You will mentor staff, drive prospecting initiatives, and ensure alignment with regional targets while maintaining a results-driven culture.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, refine playbooks, and implement scalable processes to accelerate growth and cut through competitive markets in the risk domain.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience in sales, бизнес development, or related industry with team supervision
• Demonstrated leadership with performance management and mentoring
• High proficiency with Salesforce and other sales enablement tools
• Solid expertise in sales development, lead generation, or related field with ability to adapt policies
• Validated experience in building and scaling a sales team across targeting and attainment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Development professionals
• Lead by example by identifying and qualifying new leads to achieve revenue goals
• Analyze outreach effectiveness to optimize results
• Collaborate with sales leadership to execute strategic growth plans
• Work with Head of Sales to align insights and decisions
• Ensure creation, implementation, and maintenance of standard methodologies
• Develop scalable sales systems driving predictive growth
• Set specific sales goals and accelerate growth
• Coordinate with marketing to refine strategies and ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities
