Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. supports an established industrial automation solutions provider in Singapore. They seek a Sales Engineer (Manufacturing Technology) to drive growth, build client relationships and tailor proposals for manufacturing clients.

The candidate will present solutions, negotiate terms and support customers from inquiry to project realization. This role requires technical engineering background and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in technical sales or engineering sales or a similar role.
• Experience in industrial automation is advantageous.
• Possess a valid Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.

Our client is an established industrial automation solution provider and machinery component supplier headquartered in Singapore. Due to expanding business needs, they are now recruiting for Sales Engineer (Manufacturing Technology) to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West.

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities within targeted industries to drive sales growth.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Preparing and presenting quotations, proposals, and commercial offers tailored to customer requirements.
• Negotiating pricing, contractual terms, and agreements to achieve sales objectives.
• Providing technical consultation and recommend suitable products and solutions based on customers' application needs.
• Conducting product presentations, demonstrations, trials, and proof-of-concept evaluations.
• Collaborating with customers to develop customized solutions that meet their operational requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in technical sales, engineering sales, or a similar customer-facing engineering role.
• Prior experience in industrial automation, engineering solutions, or related industries will be an advantage.
• Possess a valid Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Training on the company's sales processes and products will be provided.
