Job summary

Nextbeat Singapore Pte.Ltd. is seeking a proactive liaison for the import and distribution of premium Japanese food and beverages. You will bridge communication between clients, the sales team and warehouse, ensuring orders and deliveries run accurately and on time.

Daily duties include presenting products to chefs and outlets, supporting sales visits, and handling inquiries with precision. The role suits someone with genuine interest in F&B and strong multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Business-level Japanese (spoken and written) required for daily client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with hotel and restaurant clients in Japanese and English.
• Introduce products and propose seasonal items.
• Accompany sales staff on client visits when required.
• Handle enquiries and follow-ups.
• Process orders and prepare invoices.
• Arrange deliveries and coordinate with the warehouse.
• Check stock and incoming shipment status.
• Prepare basic import-related documents.

Our client is an established Japan-affiliated importer and wholesaler of premium Japanese food and beverages, supplying fine-dining Japanese restaurants, hotels and bars across Singapore. The team of 20+ combines Japanese and local staff, and the business is built on long-term, trust-based relationships with chefs and outlets.

The role

This is not a back-office position. You will act as the bridge between clients, the sales team and the warehouse — handling customer communication, proposing products, and keeping orders and deliveries running accurately.

• Liaise with hotel and restaurant clients in Japanese and English

Requirements
