Job summary

L.S. CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Safety Specialist to perform daily WSH inspections, assist investigations, and ensure compliance with MOM regulations.

The role includes reviewing risk assessments, updating risk registers, and ensuring valid PTW documents and PPE usage across all plant operations. You will also implement HSE procedures, conduct site inspections with subcontractors, and ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting WSH inspections and ensuring MOM compliance.
• Ability to assist in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Experience reviewing risk assessments and safe work procedures.
• Ensure PTW documents are valid and PPE is properly used.

Job Description & Requirements

• Conduct daily WSH inspection to ensure total compliance to MOM regulations and recommend preventive measures.
• Assist WSH officer in incident/accident investigation and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• Assist WSH officer in review risk assessments, safe work procedures and update risk register.
• Ensure PTW supporting documents are valid and in place for operational performance.
• Implement HSE procedures.
• Conduct inspection with subcontractors’ supervisors.
• Ensure all machinery and equipment at plants are in good working conditions.
• Ensure all workers at plants are wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
• Ensure proper housekeeping by the subcontractors on daily basis.
• Conduct daily toolbox with the subcontractors.
• Following up on all outstanding safety related issues.
• Operational duties will be assigned other than safety.
• Other duties as assigned by the Departmental Manager.
