Job summary

PVH in Singapore seeks an experienced Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) professional to lead on-site safety inspections, enforce regulations, and train crews.

You will manage permit-to-work for high-risk activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and report incidents with corrective actions. Prior experience with LTA projects is an advantage. This role requires strong communication and a minimum of five years in WSH.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First aid and emergency response training.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in WSH role.
• Possess WSQ Certificate in WSH qualification and other related safety certifications.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Conducting regular safety inspections at site identifying and addressing hazards promptly. This includes inspecting working areas, equipment and PPE.
• Collaborating with other site personnel, including site management and potential external authority agencies regarding all incidents and accidents and preparing detailed reports and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and company policies.
• Providing regular safety briefings and training to workers, keeping them informed of potential hazards and safety procedures.
• Manage and oversee permit‑to‑work system ensuring that all high-risk activities are properly authorized and conducted safely.
• Maintaining close communication and collaboration with subcontractors to ensure that their work is carried out safely and in accordance with the overall safety plan.
• Monitoring environmental conditions within the assigned area such as air quality, temperature and humidity to ensure workers safety and well‑being.
• Prior experience with Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects is an advantage.
