Job summary

RICH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure operations comply with WSH and environmental regulations, and to support the WSH Officer in closing reports and investigations.

You will lead weekly toolbox meetings, maintain safety records, conduct site inspections, and supervise workers to follow safe work procedures. 2 years building/construction experience and an Advance Certificate in WSH are required; experience with HDB/JTC projects is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry.
• Proactive with interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in HDB/JTC/Building & Commercial/Mix Development is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations comply with WSH and Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements.
• Follow up on site walk inspection findings and support the WSH Officer in closing out reports, including investigations.
• Lead weekly mass toolbox meetings and ensure proper documentation of safety checklists.
• Coordinate with site personnel to improve worksite safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure supervisors and workers adhere to approved safe work procedures.
• Assist in organizing monthly Safety Committee meetings and preparing safety reports.
• Compile and maintain safety records and conduct daily site safety inspections.
• Supervise workers to ensure safety measures are implemented per MOM regulations.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.

• Ensure all operations comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and Environmental Control regulations, as well as relevant statutory requirements.
• Follow up on site walk inspection findings raised by the Safety Committee and support the WSH Officer in closing out reports, including assistance in incident and accident investigations.
• Ensure daily safety checklists are properly completed and documented, and conduct mass toolbox meetings on a weekly basis.
• Coordinate with relevant site personnel to continuously improve worksite safety standards and site cleanliness.
• Ensure supervisors and workers strictly adhere to approved safe work procedures.
• Assist the WSH Officer in organizing monthly Safety Committee meetings and preparing safety-related reports, including the tracking of safety issues.
• Compile and maintain all relevant safety records and reports, and conduct daily site safety inspections.
• Supervise workers to ensure safety measures and procedures are implemented in accordance with MOM regulations.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Requirements

• Possess an Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
• Min. 2 years relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry
