Responsibilities

• Ensure operations comply with WSH and Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
• Follow up on safety inspection findings and assist in incident investigations
• Conduct daily safety checklists and weekly toolbox talks
• Coordinate with site personnel to improve safety standards and site cleanliness
• Ensure supervisors and workers follow approved safe work procedures
• Assist in organizing monthly Safety Committee meetings and safety reports
• Maintain safety records and conduct daily site safety inspections
• Supervise workers to ensure MOM regulations are followed
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Description

• Ensure all operations comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and Environmental Control regulations, as well as relevant statutory requirements.
• Follow up on site walk inspection findings raised by the Safety Committee and support the WSH Officer in closing out reports, including assistance in incident and accident investigations.
• Ensure daily safety checklists are properly completed and documented, and conduct mass toolbox meetings on a weekly basis.
• Coordinate with relevant site personnel to continuously improve worksite safety standards and site cleanliness.
• Ensure supervisors and workers strictly adhere to approved safe work procedures.
• Assist the WSH Officer in organizing monthly Safety Committee meetings and preparing safety-related reports, including the tracking of safety issues.
• Compile and maintain all relevant safety records and reports, and conduct daily site safety inspections.
• Supervise workers to ensure safety measures and procedures are implemented in accordance with MOM regulations.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Requirement

• Possess an Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
• Min. 2 years relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability
• Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment
• Experience in HDB/Building & Commercial/Mix Development will be advantageous.
