Job summary

JUST SAFETY CONSULTANCY (PTE. LTD.) seeks a proactive WSH Coordinator to oversee daily safety operations on site. You will lead toolbox talks, enforce MOM regulations, and drive hazard identification and corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace.

You will also conduct inspections, uphold strict recordkeeping for safety certificates, and contribute to a culture of continuous safety improvement. Short notice start is welcome for this role at our Singapore site.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid WSH Coordinator certification under MOM.
• 2+ years of relevant WSH experience, preferably in construction.
• Willingness to commence work on short notice or immediately.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily toolbox meetings to communicate safety protocols and updates.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with applicable safety and health regulations.
• Conduct thorough safety inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Promote and enforce safety rules to foster a culture of safety.
• Maintain and securely retain safety records and certificates per regulatory requirements.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead daily toolbox meetings to communicate safety protocols and updates, ensuring team engagement and awareness.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory workplace safety and health requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct thorough safety inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions promptly to mitigate risks.
• Promote and enforce workplace safety rules and regulations to foster a culture of safety and prevent accidents.
• Maintain, update, and securely retain all relevant safety records and certificates in accordance with regulatory authority requirements.

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a valid Qualified Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator certification under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Workplace Safety & Health, preferably within the construction industry.
• Demonstrate readiness to commence work on short notice or immediately.
