Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist WSH Officer in administering and implementing an effective workplace safety and health management system in accordance with prevailing legislation.
• Ensure compliance of operations with workplace safety and health regulations and statutory requirements.
• Carry out risk assessments for in-house and project sites.
• Investigate workplace accidents and advise on remedial measures to prevent recurrence.
• Promote workplace safety awareness among workers by organizing campaigns and training courses.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To assist WSH Officer in administer and implement an effective workplace safety and health management system in accordance with prevailing legislation
• Ensure compliance of operation with workplace safety and health regulations and statutory requirements
• Carried out Risk Assessments for In-House and Project Sites
• To investigate of any workplace accident and advise on the remedial measure to be taken to prevent any recurrence.
• Promoting Workplace Safety and Health awareness among workers by organizing campaigns, training course, and etc
• Participate in safety committee inspection and meeting
• Conduct safety inspections regularly to ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance to MOM safety requirements
• To follow-up on necessary actions to ensure compliance with ISO and OHSAS standards
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned by the superior

Requirements

Candidate must possess Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health and/or other relevant certificates

Minimum 2 years of construction experience

Must have own transport

Good Communication Skills

Working Day: 6 days per week

Working Hour: 8.00am to 5.00pm
