Job summary

TECHLEAD TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a meticulous and motivated Safety Coordinator to join the team in Singapore.

You will implement and enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, conduct site inspections, risk assessments, safety briefings, and ensure regulatory compliance across project sites. Responsibilities include preparing RA, SWP, JSA, method statements, safety inductions, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Higher NITEC, or Degree in Workplace Safety and Health, Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in the construction, engineering, semiconductor, or manufacturing industry.
• Possess a valid Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC) certificate or equivalent.
• Familiar with MOM Workplace Safety and Health regulations and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of Risk Assessment (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Permit-to-Work (PTW), and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and enforcing Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, procedures, and company safety.
• Conduct routine site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements.
• Conduct site safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings for employees and subcontractors.
• Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with MOM regulations, client safety requirements, and company procedure.
• Assist in investigating workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive action.
• Ensure all workers possess valid safety certifications and work permits before commencing work.
• Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training records, permits, and other WSH documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, clients, and subcontractors on all safety related matters.
• Support safety audits conducted by clients and regulatory authorities. Promote a positive safety culture and encourage continuous safety improvement across all project sites.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in the construction, engineering, semiconductor, or manufacturing industry.
• Possess a valid Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC) certificate or equivalent recognized safety qualification.
• Familiar with MOM Workplace Safety and Health regulations and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of Risk Assessment (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Permit-to-Work (PTW), and incident reporting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Candidates with experience in cleanroom, semiconductor, or industrial plant environments will have an added advantage.
