Job summary

LBD ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure on-site WSH compliance, monitor safety practices, and assist in investigations of incidents.

The role requires experience in building or civil construction, knowledge of ISO 14001/45001, and the ability to conduct safety inductions and emergency drills. Collaboration with site teams and proactive risk mitigation are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of building or civil construction experience, preferably with HDB projects.
• Proficient understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Energetic, self-driven with a results-driven attitude.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Comply with company's IMS requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act and Regulations.
• Conduct routine checks on work activities on site to identify WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices
• Assist in investigation of all site accidents.
• Conduct safety briefing / training when required.
• Conduct emergency drills and/or any WSH programme identified
• Address and provide advice on specific instances of WSH non-compliance and unsafe work practices.
• Conduct safety inductions and orientations.
• Contribute suggestions to mitigate reoccurrences of incidents and accidents.
• Support implementation of actions to improve WSH performance and control risks.
• Monitor effectiveness of implemented improvement actions.

Requirements

• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in building or civil construction industry, preferably with experience in HDB projects.
• Possess WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health / Safety coordinator course (Level B)
• Completed WSH Coordinator Refresher Training (WCRT)
• Proficient understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Qualified candidates should be energetic, self-driven, and possessing a results-driven attitude.
• Possess strong technical skills, and outstanding interpersonal abilities to enhance team collaboration
