Job summary

Tacam Steel Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Safety Officer to implement and maintain site Safety & Health Management Systems in line with WSH Act and MOM regulations. You will lead daily safety inspections, investigate incidents, prepare risk assessments, SWPs and method statements, arrange PTWs, run toolbox talks, and plan weekly safety activities with the project team.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of construction safety experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years construction safety experience.
• Certificate in WSH safety course or equivalent certification.
• Proficient in MS Office and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement site Safety & Health Management Systems per WSH Act and MOM regulations.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, identify risks and resolve EHS violations.
• Investigate workplace accidents or injuries and prepare corrective reports.
• Prepare and submit risk assessments (RA), safe work procedures (SWP) and method statements.
• Apply for daily Permit to Work (PTW) and conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Plan weekly safety team schedules and report progress to the Project Manager.

Requirement
