Job summary

Applied Engineering Pte Ltd on-site Safety Co-ordinator role in Singapore. You will report to the project manager to plan and advise on accident prevention, safety methods and applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities include deploying WSH programmes, risk assessments, safe work procedures, and ensuring compliance by all workers. You will conduct toolbox meetings, PPE enforcement, and site administration, with knowledge of ISO14000 and OH&S 45001.

Qualifications

• Specialist diploma in workplace safety and health/Advance certificate in WSH or confined space safety assessor.
• At least 2 years of experience in building or civil construction.
• Team player who is hands-on and meticulous.
• Able to start work immediately or on short notice.

• Ensure safety compliance by all workers on site.
• Communicate to all levels and attend daily site meetings.
• Coordinate implementation of corrective and preventive actions; conduct toolbox meetings.
• Establish quality safety management policies and procedures.
• Ensure PPE is applied at the site at all times.
• Responsible for site administration including safety and control of materials.
• Maintain knowledge of ISO14000 and OH&S 45001.
• Conduct emergency fire drills.
• Assist with adhoc duties assigned by the General Manager.

• ensure that all safety compliance and processes adhered to by all workers

• ensure personal protection equipment is applied with site at all time
• responsible for effective site administration which include site safety and control of materials on site
• Good working knowledge ISO14000, OH&S 45001
• conduct emergency fire drills
• Any other Adhoc duties assigned by General Manager

Requirements:

• specialist diploma in workplace safety and health/ Advance certificate in WSH, confined space safety assessor
