Job summary

QINGJIAN INTERNATIONAL (SOUTH PACIFIC) GROUP DEVELOPMENT CO., PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure operations comply with WSH and environmental regulations.

You will support the WSHO, close inspection reports, investigate incidents, and document daily checklists. The role requires a Safety Coordinators Course certificate, at least 2 years in building and construction, and strong interpersonal and analytical skills to manage safety on site and coordinate monthly Safety Committee

Qualifications

• Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes.
• Min. 2 years relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry.
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
• Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment.
• Prefer Local.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements.
• Follow up with the committee site walk inspection findings for WSH Officer to close up the report and assist WSH Officer on incident/accident investigation.
• Responsible for daily checklists and carry out mass toolbox meeting once a week.
• Coordinate with relevant site in-charge on improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance.
• Assist WSHO to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues.
• Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out daily safety inspection.
• Supervise all workers in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time
