Job summary

Quek & Quek Civil Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Safety Officer to conduct safety inspections, lead toolbox meetings, and perform risk assessments on construction sites in Singapore. The role involves coordinating with site personnel to uphold high safety standards, preparing documentation, and assisting with MOM-compliant reporting.

The candidate should possess an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health.
• At least 2 years of relevant Building and Construction Industry experience.
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend/conduct safety inspections, Safety Time-out, RA Briefing, Toolbox Meeting, etc.
• Analyze safety risk on site via regular inspections/supervision and submit reports.
• Prepare and submit safety documents as requested.
• Ensure works comply with approved method statements, risk assessments, and SWP.
• Coordinate with site personnel to improve safety standards and site cleanliness.
• Assist WSH Officer in organizing monthly Safety Committee meetings and safety reports.
• Compile safety records and reports per MOM regulations.
• Provide recommendations to improve workplace safety.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager.

• Attend / conduct safety inspection, Safety Time-out, RA Briefing, Toolbox Meeting and etc.
• To analyze safety risk on site through regular safety inspection / supervision & submit observation / inspection reports on a regular basis.
• To prepare & submit all related safety document as per requested.
• Ensure that all works are preformed according to the approved method statement, risk assessment, and SWP.
• Coordinate with relevant site personnel to continuously improve worksite safety standards and site cleanliness.
• Assist the WSH Officer in organizing month Safety Committee meetings and preparing safety-related reports, including the tracking of safety issues.
• Compile and maintain all relevant safety records and reports, and implemented in accordance with MOM regulations.
• To provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager from time to time.

Requirements

• Possess an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health.
• Min. 2 years relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry.
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skill and analytical ability.
• Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment.
