Job summary

Shopee invites a motivated intern to join our Returns & Refunds (RR) operations. You will help design policy and process improvements, collaborate with product and tech teams, and apply data insights to balance user experience with cost and risk across markets.

Work with regional teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Excellent analytical skills and a proactive attitude are essential; Bachelor’s study in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Enrolment in a Bachelor's program in business, analytics, economics, finance, accounting, statistics, mathematics, or CS.
• Basic SQL knowledge is a plus for data-driven RR decisions.
• Strong analytical thinking to solve business challenges.
• Self-driven with eagerness to learn and contribute to impact.
• Experience coordinating tasks across stakeholders and tracking progress.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and optimising end-to-end Returns & Refunds policies, processes, and system automations.
• Collaborate with local teams and senior management to align RR strategy, balancing user experience, cost and risk.
• Work with Product and Tech teams to apply data for buyer risk profiling and RR privileges.
• Identify abusive buyer behaviors to minimise leakage and implement preventive controls.
• Monitor RR initiatives post-launch and recommend improvements.
