Job summary

FAR EAST GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Retail & Operations Assistant to support daily retail sales activities and provide operational support to the retail team in Singapore. You will handle customer enquiries, process orders, assist with stock checks, and coordinate delivery fulfillment to ensure smooth store operations.

The role requires at least Higher Nitec or equivalent and about 1 year of sales-support experience in hardware retail.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• ERP/inventory systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily retail sales operations including customer service and order processing.

About the role:

The Retail &Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting daily retail sales activities while providing operational support to the retail team. This role deal with customer enquiries, order processing, inventory coordination, stock management, and delivery fulfillment to ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support daily retail sales operations, including customer service, order processing, product testing, picking, packing, and delivery coordination.
2. Prepare quotations, invoices, delivery orders, and other sales-related documentation.
3. Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of customer orders.
4. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock transfers and replenishment activities.
5. Maintain accurate inventory, stock movement, and transaction records in the system.
6. Support purchasing activities, including raising purchase requisitions and processing goods receipts.
7. Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth day-to-day retail and operational activities.
8. Provide general inventory support to the retail team and management.
9. Reasonable ad hoc task as assigned by Supervisor/Management.

Key Requirements

• Minimum Higher Nitec or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in sales support, retail sales, or picker in hardware retail environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems will be an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Can be physically demanding at times due to some parts/product weighting ~30kg/pc or ~150kg/set.
