Job summary

LVMH Fashion Group Southeast Asia and Oceania is seeking a Retail Training Manager to shape the learning strategy for the SEAO region. You will define the yearly training roadmap, design and deliver in-person and virtual programs on brand knowledge, collections, selling ceremony, and client service standards.

Partner with retail teams and Central teams to tailor content, conduct inductions, coaching, localised materials, and manage the training budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or above.
• Min. 8 years’ training experience in retail or fashion, preferably luxury.
• Experience in facilitating both technical and soft skill training.
• Certified Trainers advantageous.
• Passion to develop, motivate and help others achieve goals.
• Strong business acumen with field coaching in luxury retail.
• Good understanding of retail and client service mindset.
• Excellent planning, presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define yearly training roadmap for SEAO region aligned with HQ guidelines.
• Design, develop and deliver in-person and virtual training on brand knowledge, collections and selling ceremony.
• Deliver localised training for new store openings, CRM, selling skills and regional workshops.
• Conduct induction and onboarding with store managers.
• Prepare and localise training materials for programs.
• Follow up post-training to reinforce skill application.
• Conduct in-store coaching to ensure high service standards.
• Identify local market training needs and implement interventions.
• Plan and manage annual training budget and monitor expenses.
• Collaborate with Central for global training initiatives and select external suppliers.
• Plan projects to support retail learning (teambuilding, recognition, etc.).

Job description

As the Retail Training Manager, you will define the training needs of the retail teams for SEAO region based on business needs, design, implement and deliver store training interventions to elevate the skills, knowledge and competencies of our store teams. You will partner with retail teams to increase business performance, client satisfaction and ensure excellent service quality standards across SEAO region.

Job Description:

• Define yearly training roadmap for SEAO region, in line with HQ guidelines & strategic priorities, building a long-term vision for team growth & development
• Design, develop and deliver effective in-person and virtual training programs relating to brand knowledge, collections and selling ceremony
• Deliver training programs with local adaptation to support the needs of the retail teams, not limited to new store openings, product knowledge, CRM, selling skills training, local & regional workshops.
• Conduct induction with new joiners and work with Store Managers to ensure smooth onboarding journey
• Prepare and localise training materials necessary for the respective training programs
• Conduct follow-ups post training with participants to ensure effectiveness of the program and reinforce the application of skills learnt in training activities
• Conduct in-store coaching to Retail team to ensure high standards of client service and knowledge to support them to meet their objectives
• Identify training needs of the local markets and implement training interventions to support retail teams to achieve their business goals
• Propose, plan and manage annual training budget and monitor its expenses
• Work closely with Central for the implementation of global training initiatives & programs
• Select and manage external training suppliers to carry out defined training programs where necessary
• Plan and implement projects to support retail learning e.g. retail recognition programs, store teambuilding, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above
• Min. 8 years’ training experience in retail or fashion industry, preferably in luxury
• Experience in facilitating both technical and soft skill training
• Candidates who are Certified Trainers will be advantageous
• Passion to develop, motivate and help others achieve performance goals
• Strong business acumen with field coaching experience in luxury retail industry
• Good understanding of retail and strong client service mindset
