MADERA SG (CWP) PTE. LTD. is seeking an energetic Retail Sales Assistant Manager to support daily store operations, drive sales performance, and lead our floor team.

You will work with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage inventory, and coach team members to achieve KPIs. • Diploma or higher in Business/Retail Management preferred.
• 3–4 years of retail sales experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities; solid POS and inventory software knowledge.
• Ability to analyze basic sales data and set team targets.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales targets and monitor daily KPIs on the sales floor.
• Supervise, train, and mentor retail sales associates; assist with shift schedules and reviews.
• Model outstanding customer service; resolve escalated inquiries or complaints and foster loyalty.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and order accuracy for store operations.

Job description

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Retail Sales Assistant Manager to support daily store operations, drive sales performance, and lead our floor team. You will work closely with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage inventory, and coach team members to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Performance: Support the team in driving sales targets, monitoring daily KPIs, and implementing promotional strategies on the sales floor.

• Team Leadership & Coaching: Supervise, train, and mentor retail sales associates. Assist in managing shift schedules and conducting performance reviews.

• Customer Service: Model outstanding service standards, resolve escalated customer inquiries or complaints, and foster customer loyalty.

• Store Operations: Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, register reconciliations, e-commerce orders and overall store safety/security compliance.

• Merchandising & Inventory: Maintain visual merchandising standards according to brand guidelines. Oversee stock replenishment, cycle counts, and inventory auditing to minimize shrinkage.

Qualifications & Criteria

• Education: Diploma or diploma in Business/Retail Management preferred and above.

• Experience: Minimum of 3~4 years of retail sales experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior associate role.

• Skills:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

  • Solid understanding of retail Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic inventory management software.

  • Proven ability to analyze basic sales data and set team targets.

• Physical & Flexible Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift light-to-moderate stock packages, and work flexible shifts (including weekends, evenings, and public holidays).
