Job summary

Whale is seeking an experienced Solution Consultant (Presales) to support our expanding enterprise retail portfolio. You will act as the technical advisor across the sales cycle, shaping solution direction, delivering compelling demonstrations, and ensuring customers understand the value and impact of our AI-driven retail platform.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure technical alignment, solution success, and strong customer confidence before

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in presales, solution architecture or technical consulting in SaaS/AI/ML.
• Strong understanding of enterprise retail operations.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; able to explain tech to business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover business challenges and requirements.
• Architect and position solutions based on customer needs and show demos.
• Own technical proposal development and build POC plans with KPIs.
• Support field teams during validation, pilots, and pre-contract metrics.
