Job summary

The Chuan Project Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily operations and lead front-of-house staff.

You will ensure excellent customer service and oversee service standards during busy hours, while collaborating with the kitchen team for smooth operations. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in restaurant settings, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to handle shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in restaurant or F&B operations.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Good leadership and team coordination skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and handle operational challenges.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Responsible, proactive and service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
• Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and dining experience.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Assist with staff scheduling, attendance and manpower allocation.
• Monitor daily sales, cash handling and POS operations.
• Assist in inventory management, stock control and ordering of supplies.
• Ensure proper restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and hygiene standards.
• Train, guide and motivate service staff to improve performance.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures and food safety regulations.
• Take charge of restaurant operations in the Restaurant Manager's absence.
