Job summary

Paradise Hotpot Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Restaurant Assistant to support the Restaurant Manager in delivering high standards of food, service, health and safety while assisting in daily operations.

The role involves staff supervision, shift coordination, and ensuring excellent customer experiences across all touchpoints. You will help analyse sales, prepare reports, manage costs, train new staff, and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Restaurant Manager and assist in achieving optimal business performance.
• Support in maintaining high standards of food, service, health and safety.
• Assist in managing the restaurant in the Manager's absence.
• Assist in analysing sales levels and profitability.
• Prepare shift and weekly reports including staff control and cash handling.
• Create and execute department plans for sales, profit and staff development.
• Monitor labour and F&B costs and conduct stock takes.
• Plan menus and coordinate related activities.
• Maintain filing systems and read company emails.
• Handle disciplinary issues, annual reviews, and staff confirmations.
• Provide effective leadership to the F&B team to meet targets.
• Review operations and suggest improvements to management.
• Coordinate restaurant operations during shifts and handle customer complaints.
• Ensure uniform standards are followed and greet customers, organise reservations.
• Advise customers on menu and beverage choices and coach new trainees.
• Plan staff rosters, cleaning duties and update GRN/e-procurement.
• Oversee cashiering, daily sales, petty cash, and banking duties.
• Collect customer feedback and upsell desserts and promotions.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and safety.
