Job summary

Paradise Dynasty Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in achieving top business performance, maintaining high standards of food, service, health and safety, and deputising during absences.

You will help analyze sales and profitability, prepare shift reports, lead the F&B team, monitor costs, assist with menus planning, staff training, and ensure compliance with SOPs while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Restaurant Manager and support operational performance.
• Assist in achieving optimal restaurant business performance.
• Assist in analysing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability.
• Prepare end-of-shift and weekly reports on staff, food, cash, and sales.
• Contribute to plans for department sales, profit, and staff development.
• Monitor labour and food & beverage costing; conduct stock takes.
• Assist in planning and coordinating menus.
• Maintain filing systems and read company emails.
• Support disciplinary matters, annual reviews, and staff confirmations.
• Provide effective leadership to the F&B team to meet targets.
• Review operations and suggest improvements to management.
• Coordinate restaurant operations during shifts.
• Respond to customer complaints and ensure positive service.
• Ensure adherence to uniform standards.
• Meet and greet customers and assist with reservations.
• Advise customers on menu and beverage choices.
• Conduct orientation and training; coach new staff.
• Plan staff duty rosters and cleaning duties.
• Update GRN and perform e-Procurement.
• Handle cashiering, daily sales, float, and petty cash.
• Carry out banking duties.
• Collect customer feedback via iPad.
• Upsell desserts and promotions and PGR membership.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and health & safety.
• Ensure SOP compliance by service and kitchen staff.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
