Job summary

les canons pte. ltd. is seeking a Restaurant Operations Assistant to support the Restaurant Manager in daily activities in Singapore. You will supervise the service team, greet guests, take orders, serve dishes and beverages, and help ensure a high standard of hospitality and guest satisfaction.

You will also assist with staff scheduling, conduct briefings, coordinate with kitchen and bar, manage stock levels and ensure smooth service flows during peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
• Supervise and coordinate the service team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Be hands-on and perform floor duties during service, greeting guests, taking orders, serving, clearing tables and attending to guest requests.
• Maintain high standards of service, hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Lead, train and guide service staff on service standards, product knowledge and SOPs.
• Assist with staff scheduling, deployment and attendance matters.
• Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational requirements to the team.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient service.
• Monitor restaurant supplies, equipment and inventory levels.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and monthly inventory when required.
• Ensure proper use of the POS system, cashiering procedures and daily closing.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, workplace safety and company policies.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational and service objectives.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
