Job summary

Souper Tang Singapore is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager / Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will manage front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring service excellence, hygiene, and cost control in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strong leadership, 3+ years in F&B with supervisory experience, and a proactive, hands-on approach to drive sales and profitability while maintaining high standards of quality

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality, F&B or Restaurant Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant F&B experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of restaurant operations, manpower planning and cost control.
• Hands-on, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Positive attitude, responsible and passionate about the F&B industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations.
• Ensure consistent standards in service, food quality, hygiene and customer satisfaction.
• Lead, coach and motivate the restaurant team to achieve operational and service standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, deployment and manpower planning to ensure sufficient coverage.
• Conduct staff training, performance coaching and team development.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and effectively.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, safety and compliance with company SOPs.
• Monitor sales, labour and operating costs, and minimise wastage.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to achieve sales, productivity and profitability targets.
• Prepare regular outlet performance and operational reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve service standards, operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support Management in implementing initiatives to drive business growth and outlet performance.
