Job summary

Souper Tang in Singapore is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager / Restaurant Manager to lead daily Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations, driving service standards and guest satisfaction. You will mentor the team, manage staffing, training and cost controls while collaborating with the Operations Manager to achieve sales and productivity targets.

This hands-on role suits a passionate F&B professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and aims to grow into a leadership

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality, F&B or Restaurant Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant F&B experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of restaurant operations, manpower planning and cost control.
• Hands-on, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Positive attitude, responsible and passionate about the F&B industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations.
• Ensure consistent standards in service, food quality, hygiene and customer satisfaction.
• Lead, coach and motivate the restaurant team to achieve operational and service standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, deployment and manpower planning to ensure sufficient coverage.
• Conduct staff training, performance coaching and team development.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and effectively.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, safety and compliance with company SOPs.
• Manage inventory, supplies and operational resources efficiently.
• Monitor sales, labour and operating costs, and minimise wastage.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to achieve sales, productivity and profitability targets.
• Prepare regular outlet performance and operational reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve service standards, operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support Management in implementing initiatives to drive business growth and outlet performance.
