Job summary

The QuainTest Co. Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and strong team performance. You will aim for exceptional guest experience while meeting sales and operational targets.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, organised, service-oriented, and capable of leading the team with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth service.
• Lead, supervise, train, and motivate the Front of House team.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and restaurant presentation.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
• Manage reservations, table allocation, and guest flow.
• Ensure good coordination between the Front of House, Bar, and Kitchen teams.
• Monitor staff attendance, performance, grooming, and discipline.
• Train staff on service standards, menu knowledge, beverages, and SOPs.
• Drive sales through good service, product knowledge, and appropriate upselling.
• Monitor daily sales and assist in achieving monthly sales targets.
• Control operating costs, wastage, and restaurant expenses.
• Ensure accurate handling of cash, payments, and POS transactions.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and development of new staff.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety, and company policies.
• Maintain restaurant equipment and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Prepare operational reports and update management on restaurant performance.
• Handle any operational issues and make appropriate decisions during service.
