THE QUAINTEST CO. PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure smooth service and achieve sales targets.

You will lead the Front of House team, supervise service standards, and collaborate with Bar and Kitchen to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

This hands-on role requires organisation, ownership, and a proactive approach to training, cost control, and maintaining impeccable hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
• Lead and motivate Front of House team.
• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness and presentation.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
• Manage reservations, table allocation and guest flow.
• Coordinate between Front of House, Bar and Kitchen teams.
• Monitor staff attendance, grooming and discipline.
• Train staff on service standards, menu knowledge, beverages and SOPs.
• Drive sales through upselling and product knowledge.
• Monitor daily sales and assist in achieving monthly targets.
• Control costs, wastage and restaurant expenses.
• Handle cash, payments and POS transactions.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and development of new staff.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety and company policies.
• Maintain restaurant equipment and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Prepare operational reports and update management on restaurant performance.
• Handle any operational issues and make appropriate decisions during service.
