Job summary

The QUAINTEST CO. PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service and a strong team performance for an excellent guest experience.

The ideal candidate will be organised, service-oriented, and able to lead the team with ownership and responsibility, driving sales while controlling costs and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth service.
• Lead, supervise, train, and motivate the Front of House team.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and restaurant presentation.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
• Manage reservations, table allocation, and guest flow.
• Ensure good coordination between the Front of House, Bar, and Kitchen teams.
• Monitor staff attendance, performance, grooming, and discipline.
• Train staff on service standards, menu knowledge, beverages, and SOPs.
• Drive sales through good service, product knowledge, and appropriate upselling.
• Monitor daily sales and assist in achieving monthly sales targets.
• Control operating costs, wastage, and restaurant expenses.
• Ensure accurate handling of cash, payments, and POS transactions.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and development of new staff.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety, and company policies.
• Maintain restaurant equipment and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Prepare operational reports and update management on restaurant performance.
• Handle any operational issues and make appropriate decisions during service.
