Job summary

GYG is seeking a Restaurant Manager to own day-to-day operations, lead and develop the team, and drive performance across the restaurant. You will guide peak periods, maintain high standards, and ensure every guest has a great experience.

You will supervise daily operations, control costs, and work with the operations team to drive continuous improvement, all while fostering a culture of training and development and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a busy hospitality or F&B environment.
• Strong customer service and people management skills.
• Experience managing restaurant financials and P&L.
• Hands-on, proactive approach and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Genuine interest in developing people and growing with GYG.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing the restaurant team.
• Managing daily restaurant operations and shift performance.
• Ensuring consistent food quality, service and food safety standards.
• Driving an exceptional guest experience and handling customer feedback.
• Managing restaurant inventory, wastage and operating costs.
• Managing labour, COGS and operating expenses against targets.
• Monitoring sales and overall restaurant performance.
• Supporting training and development of the team.
• Working closely with the wider operations team to drive continuous improvement.
