GYG in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead the team during busy service, partner with the Restaurant Manager and own the shift to keep service running smoothly. You will ensure food safety and quality, manage stock, costs and labour, monitor sales, support crew training, and handle customer feedback, with opportunities for rapid career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a busy, high-volume hospitality or F&B environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A hands-on and proactive approach to restaurant operations.
• The ability to stay calm and make decisions during busy service period.
• Good understanding of food safety, quality and service standards.
• Experience with stock, wastage or cost control is an advantage.
• A genuine interest in developing people and growing your career in F&B.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team during shifts.
• Support the Restaurant Manager with daily restaurant operations.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served according to GYG recipes and standards.
• Keep speed of service and customer service standards on track.
• Maintain food quality, food safety, cleanliness and restaurant standards.
• Manage stock, wastage and restaurant needs during the shift.
• Monitor sales and operating performance.
• Manage labour, COGS and operating costs against targets.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues.
• Support crew training and development.
• Take charge of the restaurant in the Restaurant Manager's absence.
