Job summary

Mott MacDonald Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor with civil/structural background to support infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role focuses on on-site supervision, adherence to drawings, specs and statutory requirements, and coordination with contractors.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of site supervision experience, RTO registration with IES, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset to ensure smooth handover of structures to authorities.

Qualifications

• RTO registration with IES is mandatory.
• Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• At least 3 years of site supervision experience in infrastructure works (HDB preferred).
• Familiar with local legislation, regulations and codes.
• Good coordination, proactive and team player.
• Experience in handover of completed structures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural works on site per drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with Main Contractors' Engineer/Supervisor for inspections.
• Assist QP on structural works per approved drawings.
• Conduct structural inspections per contract drawings and method statements.
• Provide standing supervision and coordinate contractor works with consultants and external parties.
• Record materials, equipment, attend meetings, and prepare minutes.

Location/s: Singapore

Job Responsibilities

• At least 3 years of site experience and/or experience in the supervision of Civil Engineering works
• Experience in site work or site supervision relating to the construction of open cut excavation. Additional experiences on bridge construction will be an advantage.
• To liaise and conduct inspection with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.
• To assist QP on all structural works carried out according to approved drawings
• To do structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings issued, the contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings and method of statements
• To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works in accordance to the Project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.
• To assist in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keeping and submitting record of works, materials, equipment at site, attending meetings, keeping minutes of meetings and discussions, assisting in the coordination of Contractor’s works with consultants and any external parties.

Requirements

• RTO registration with IES is mandatory
• Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Have at least 3 years of experience in site supervision of infrastructure works undertaken by HDB
• Be conversant in local legislation, regulations and codes
• Possess good co-ordination skills, self-motivated, proactive and team player
• Experience in handover of completed structures to relevant authority will be an advantage
