Job summary

QUICKSYNC PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned Resident Technical Officer (C&S) to support its construction consultancy and site supervision services in Singapore.

You will supervise C&S works, review drawings and specifications, coordinate with contractors, and prepare technical reports under the direction of the QP and project consultants. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years on major projects.
• C&S RTO accreditation through IES/ACES JAC is required.
• BCSS or relevant construction safety certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of C&S construction, drawings, specifications, site inspection and QA/QC practices.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends or public holidays when required.

We are seeking experienced Resident Technical Officers(C&S) to support its professional construction consultancy and technical site-supervision services for major building and infrastructure projects in Singapore.

The role involves technical site supervision, inspection, quality control, drawing and specification review, construction coordination, technical reporting and project documentation under the direction of the appointed Qualified Person (QP) and project consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect C&S construction works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable regulations and project requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, testing and construction quality.
• Identify and report technical discrepancies, defects and non-conformities to the QP and project consultants.
• Review drawings, specifications and method statements and highlight technical issues requiring attention.
• Attend site and technical meetings and coordinate with contractors and relevant project stakeholders.
• Conduct inspections and maintain proper inspection records and technical documentation.
• Prepare progress reports, site records and other technical reports as required.
• Follow up on technical observations, outstanding works and corrective actions.
• Support the QP and project consultants in maintaining technical and quality compliance throughout the construction process.
• Perform day or night-shift site supervision and inspection duties, including weekends or public holidays, where required by project activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years of relevant project experience.
• Relevant experience in HDB BTO, LTA tunnel/infrastructure, Changi Airport (CAG), or other major building and infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
• C&S RTO accreditation through IES/ACES JAC is required.
• BCSS or relevant construction safety certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of C&S construction, drawings, specifications, site inspection and quality-control practices.
• Good communication, coordination and technical reporting skills.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends or public holidays when required by project activities.
