Job summary

Mott MacDonald Singapore is seeking a site supervisor with 3+ years of infrastructure supervision experience. You will oversee civil and structural works on site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and regulations.

You will liaise with Main Contractor engineers, assist the QP on structural tasks, perform inspections, and maintain thorough site records. Strong coordination and teamwork are essential to delivering projects safely and effectively.

Qualifications

• RTO registration with IES is mandatory.
• Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• At least 3 years' site supervision experience in infrastructure.
• Familiar with local regulations and codes.
• Good coordination, proactive, and team player.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil/structural works on site per drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with Main Contractor's Engineer/Supervisor.
• Assist Qualified Person on structural works per approved drawings.
• Conduct structural inspections per contract drawings and methods.
• Provide standing supervision per project specs and Building Control Act.
• Maintain records of works, materials, equipment at site.
• Attend meetings and prepare minutes; liaise with consultants and external parties.

Job description

Location/s: Singapore

Job Responsibilities:

• At least 3 years of site experience and/or experience in the supervision of Civil Engineering works
• Experience in site work or site supervision relating to the construction of open cut excavation. Additional experiences on bridge construction will be an advantage.
• To liaise and conduct inspection with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.
• To assist QP on all structural works carried out according to approved drawings
• To do structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings issued, the contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings and method of statements
• To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works in accordance to the Project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.
• To assist in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keeping and submitting record of works, materials, equipment at site, attending meetings, keeping minutes of meetings and discussions, assisting in the coordination of Contractor’s works with consultants and any external parties.

Requirements:

• RTO registration with IES is mandatory
• Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Have at least 3 years of experience in site supervision of infrastructure works undertaken by HDB
• Be conversant in local legislation, regulations and codes
• Possess good co-ordination skills, self-motivated, proactive and team player
• Experience in handover of completed structures to relevant authority will be an advantage
