Job summary

CONSTRUCTION PROFESSIONALS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to supervise construction works in line with BCA regulations and to ensure accurate on-site execution of design documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and is accredited as a Resident Engineer with IES. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction supervision.
• Experience with M&E works and on-site coordination.
• Proficient in MS Office for updates/reports.

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction supervision and ensure design docs are implemented safely on-site.
• Coordinate on-site activities and ensure construction safety.
• Ensure M&E works meet regulatory and client requirements.
• Review drawings and contract documents for ongoing works.
• Attend site progress meetings with project team and client to resolve issues.
• Maintain timely site documentation including meetings, safety records, and method statements.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out construction supervision of construction works as required under the BCA regulations and ensure that the design documentation is safely and accurately implemented on-site.
• Responsible for the co-ordination of work on site and ensure construction safety.
• Ensure that all mechanical & electrical works comply fully with regulatory and client's requirements.
• Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision, quality & safety.
• Review M&E drawings and relevant contract documents in carrying out the works.
• Attend site progress and technical meetings with the project team and Client to resolve site and technical issues.
• Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements are updated in a timely manner and properly kept.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Must be accredited as a Resident Engineer with IES.
• Proficient in MS Office applications to facilitate project updates and reports
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiar with local codes and regulations
