Job summary

GS Engineering & Construction Corp is seeking an experienced M&E supervisor to support project management on a main contractor site in Singapore. You will coordinate mechanical and electrical works, liaise with clients, consultants and sub-contractors, and ensure project timelines are met through effective site supervision.

The role requires a degree in M&E engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to work independently while coordinating

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in main contractor roles with M&E works.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Good safety knowledge and attitude.
• Ability to liaise with statutory authorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in supervising and coordinating all services within programme.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and subcontractors on technical matters.
• Supervise and coordinate M&E works with other departments to meet timelines.
• Conduct M&E coordination with all specialist contractors.
• Coordinate with BIM modelers, coordinators and project engineers/managers.
• Carry out testing and commissioning of M&E works.
• Manage subcontractors and production planning/build progress.
• Execute mechanical and electrical works on site.
• Supervise day-to-day site works and documentation.
• Coordinate submissions of method statements, drawings, materials and progress.
• Prepare Coordinated Services Drawing (CSD) and penetration drawings with BIM team.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of CSD.
• Attend progress/site/MEP meetings and ensure compliance with standards and safety regs.

Job Responsibilities :

• Assist Project Manager in supervising and coordinating all services and complete within programme
• Work closely with the clients, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
• Supervise and Coordinate M&E services work and work closely with other department staff to meet the project timelines
• Conduct in detailed, M&E coordination with all specialist contractors
• Coordinate with all BIM modelers, coordinators and Project Engineers/Project Managers of various M&E contractors
• Carry out testing and commission of M&E works
• Manage sub-contractors / in progress production planning & build
• Execute mechanical and electrical works in construction
• Supervise day-to-day site works
• Handle the project supervision and documentation
• Manage M&E subcontractors’ submission of method statements, drawings, materials, samples and work progress
• Prepare Coordinated Services Drawing (CSD), penetration drawing and coordinate with BIM team
• Ensure timely prepare and submission of CSD
• Attend progress / site / MEP meeting
• Compliance with all necessary standards, code of practice and safety regulations
• Ensure of quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied with
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements:
