Job description

Responsibilities

• Understanding of Project Specifications, construction drawings and ensuring all site activities comply with regulations and client’s requirements
• Monitor site works to ensure method statements and work procedures are strictly followed
• Supervise structural works, identifying any non‑conformity of contractor’s work site
• Ensure the Builder (incl. technical supervisors) executes work in accordance with Consultant’s instructions
• Check drawings and shop drawings for discrepancies, highlight to Consultant, and suggest possible solutions to prevent delays
• Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials used for the project
• Ensure proper documentation of site inspection records, safety records, and approved/as‑built drawings
• Maintain and update site records on progress of work, housekeeping, and prepare reports
• Verify contractors’ progress payment claims in terms of work done and materials/equipment delivered and stored on site
• Witness all inspection, testing and commissioning sessions performed by contractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications
• Report to the project QP/Project Consultants Team on quality and progress
• Supervise foundation, ERSS construction and all other design works
• Manage and coordinate with site supervisors (incl. RTO) regarding C&S engineering works, architectural and M&E engineering works
• Possess a complete understanding of local requirements, especially complying with BCA’s criteria for build‑ability and safety assurance system
• Carry out regular site checks on Builder to ensure compliance with health and safety in accordance with MOM
• Attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings

Requirements
