Job summary

Binnies Singapore seeks an experienced Resident Engineer to lead civil and structural site supervision on water treatment facilities. You will coordinate with the project team, check workmanship, and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a PE/IES-registered background, a civil & structural engineering degree, and at least 10 years in supervision of large-scale construction. Strong leadership and communication are essential to deliver projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Required degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (preferably PE Board recognised).
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience supervising civil/structural works.
• IES registration as Resident Engineer (Civil) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team on all Civil, Structural and Building Construction works.
• Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on site inspections, contract matters and defect rectification supervision.
• Address and respond to Contractor’s RFIs and technical submittals; assess method statements/instrumentation readings; coordinate with other disciplines and HQ design team.
• Attend site/project meetings with clients/contractors and lead technical and progress discussions.

Requirements

• Good graduate Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience in supervising civil and structural works in water/used water treatment works.
• Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (Civil).
• A person with good communication and leadership skills.
