Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
• PE Board recognition in Singapore preferred.
• Minimum 10 years' experience supervising civil/structural works in water or used water projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for team and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team to ensure quality and compliance in Civil, Structural, and Building Construction works.
• Support Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager by inspecting site works, managing contract matters, and supervising defect rectification.
• Review RFIs and technical submittals to maintain progress and standards.
• Assess method statements and instrumentation readings to verify construction methods and safety.
• Coordinate with discipline engineers and liaise with the design team and QP to resolve technical issues.
• Lead technical and progress discussions in site and project meetings with clients and contractors.

Job Summary

Lead and supervise civil and structural site works for building construction projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely progress. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team to ensure quality and compliance in all Civil, Structural, and Building Construction works
• Support the Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager by inspecting site works, managing contract matters, and supervising defect identification and rectification
• Review and respond to Contractor’s RFIs and technical submittals to maintain project progress and standards
• Assess method statements and instrumentation readings to verify construction methods and safety
• Coordinate with other discipline engineers and liaise with the design team and Qualified Person (QP) from headquarters to resolve technical issues
• Lead technical and work progress discussions in site and project meetings with clients and Contractors

Required competencies and certifications

• Graduate Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably recognized by the PE Board, Singapore
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience supervising civil and structural works in water/used water treatment projects
• Registration with IES as Resident Engineer (Civil)
• Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholder interactions
