Job summary

ENCORA TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a storage engineer to manage Brocade SAN environments and Hitachi storage arrays. You will handle replication, failover, and performance tuning while coordinating with IT teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with VMware, multiple OS platforms, and scripting; strong analytical skills, initiative, and project experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with Brocade SAN and Hitachi storage architectures.
• Knowledge of replication, snapshot and remote replication concepts.
• Familiarity with VMware and multi-OS environments (AIX/Windows/Linux).
• Scripting basics for automation and troubleshooting.

Job description

Technical skills:

• Experience in Brocade SAN administration
• Hitachi storage architecture
• Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage (AMS, HUS, VSP & Gx00 etc)
• Storage replication, snapshot, shadow image and remote replication sync and async
• Hitachi Global Active Device
• Hitachi tools such as HCS, HTnM, HDLM etc
• Brocade switch and fabric (zoning, ISL, trunking, fabric merging etc)
• Basic knowledge of VMware, OS(AIX/Windows/Linux)
• Basic scripting knowledge

1. 6. Storage performance tuning and troubleshooting.
2. 7. Incident management and change management process knowledge.
3. 8. Project handling experience from sizing to roll-out, preferably with project management background
4. 9. Strong analytical skill, very initiative, good planning & systematic execution
