Job summary

BIT SOLUTION PTE. LTD. seeks a System & Storage Engineer to deliver enterprise projects, design technical solutions, and provide advanced troubleshooting for system and storage deployments.

You will lead technical implementations, support L2 managed services, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and customers to ensure on-time delivery with quality. Proficiency in VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix, SAN/NAS, cloud platforms, backups, and Microsoft services is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in system integration project implementation.
• 3+ years implementing/migrating SAN storage solutions.
• 3+ years VMware/Hyper-V virtualization experience.
• 2+ years implementing Cisco UCS, HP, or Dell servers.
• 2 years Microsoft enterprise products experience.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The System & Storage Engineer will deliver enterprise projects, support presales activities, design technical solutions, and provide advanced troubleshooting for system and storage deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation of enterprise system and storage projects, contributing to solution design aligned with project objectives
• Provide Level 2 managed services support during scheduled shifts, resolving client-reported incidents efficiently
• Analyze project objectives to derive detailed Scope of Work documents
• Develop vision and connectivity diagrams to illustrate system setups clearly
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system infrastructure issues to maintain operational stability
• Work flexibly on weekends and after business hours to meet project deadlines and support client incidents
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed scope, timeline, and quality standards
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation including configuration records, test results, handover documents, and as-built diagrams
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, vendors, and customers to ensure successful project delivery

• Apply virtualization technologies such as VMware, HyperV, and Nutanix to optimize system performance
• Manage server technologies including blade servers, hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), and Cisco Unified Computing Server
• Utilize cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud for scalable infrastructure solutions
• Implement backup solutions using Veeam and Rubrik to ensure data protection and recovery
• Administer Microsoft enterprise solutions including Entra, M365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune, Purview, Defender), and Active Directory
• Perform security hardening on Windows and Linux operating systems to safeguard infrastructure
• Configure and manage storage systems including SAN FC/iSCSI, NAS, and zoning on Brocade and MDS SAN switches

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project implementation within a system integrator environment
• At least 3 years of experience implementing and migrating SAN Storage solutions
• Minimum 3 years of experience implementing or upgrading VMware or HyperV virtualization platforms
• At least 2 years of experience implementing Cisco UCS, HP, or Dell blade and system servers
• 2 Years’ experience in implementing Microsoft enterprise products

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of Exchange, Microsoft Clustering, SQL Always On Availability Groups (AAG), Remote Desktop Services (RDS), and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
• Technical certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent
• Experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central or similar endpoint management tools
