Job summary

Hi5 Consulting Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a storage specialist to manage Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage systems, including replication, snapshots and remote replication.

You will work with Hitachi tools (HCS, HTnM, HDLM) and Brocade fabric, perform performance tuning, incident and change management, and contribute to project sizing and rollout with strong analytical and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of VMware and OS (AIX/Windows/Linux).
• Basic scripting knowledge.
• Experience with storage performance tuning.
• Familiar with incident and change management processes.
• Project delivery experience from sizing to rollout.

Responsibilities

• Manage Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage environments.
• Handle storage replication, snapshots, shadow image and remote replication (sync/async).
• Operate Hitachi tools such as HCS, HTnM, HDLM.
• Work with Brocade fabric including zoning, ISL, trunking and fabric merging.
• Leverage foundational VMware/OS knowledge and basic scripting in daily tasks.

Job description

• Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage (AMS, HUS, VSP & Gx00 etc)
• Storage replication, snapshot, shadow image and remote replication sync and async
• Hitachi tools such as HCS, HTnM, HDLM etc
• Brocade switch and fabric (zoning, ISL, trunking, fabric merging etc)
• Basic knowledge of VMware, OS(AIX/Windows/Linux)
• Basic scripting knowledge

2. Storage performance tuning and troubleshooting.

3. Incident management and change management process knowledge.

4. Project handling experience from sizing to roll-out, preferably with project management background

5. Strong analytical skill, very initiative, good planning & systematic execution
