Job summary

A-STAR TESTING & INSPECTION (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Architect to lead supervision of architectural and fitting-out works on major building projects in Singapore.

You will guide site staff, ensure quality, and coordinate with CLIENT, QP(S) and project consultants to deliver compliant workmanship. The ideal candidate holds an Architectural degree recognized by the Board of Architects, has at least eight years in architecture, with five years in supervision of complex works, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as an architecture professional.
• At least 5 years in supervision of works with complex architectural/fitting-out tasks.
• Lead architectural site staff and coordinate with clients, QP(S) and consultants.
• Possess good leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Monitor, supervise and inspect works on site as directed by CLIENT, QP(S) and project consultants.
• Lead site staff to ensure quality, progress and compliance with codes.

Job description

Key Requirements:

• a. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as an architecture professional, of which at least 5 years shall be in supervision of works similar in complexity, in particular, architectural and fitting out works in major building construction. Preferably with a focus experience in either Roof C Façade systems, Architectural systems or Interior Architecture Fit out works.
• b.Possess an Architectural degree recognized by the Board of Architects.
• c. Lead architectural site staff to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by CLIENT, QP(S) and/orthe project consultants and FUI owners. He must possess good leadershipqualities, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• d. Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report.
• e.Possess strong supervision and leadership skills.
• f. Possess strong technical knowledge and quick-thinking skills with a strong ability to manage and resolve on site issues.
• g.Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communications skills.
