Job summary

A-STAR TESTING & INSPECTION (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly experienced professional in Singapore to lead large-scale building projects from construction through handover.

You will synthesize data from EDMS and Primavera P6 to identify coordination risks, interpret complex drawings, and manage BIM models while coordinating with stakeholders at all levels. The role requires an architectural degree, strong communication, and exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant construction experience on large-scale building projects.
• Architectural degree recognized by the Board of Architects.
• Completed at least three projects in construction and handover stages.
• Able to synthesize data from EDMS/Primavera P6 to identify coordination risks.
• Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications and requirements.
• Proficient in BIM navigation and approved Electronic documents.
• Experience with EDMS such as Bentley ProjectWise to review drawings, specs, RFIs/RFAs.
• Able to work independently; strong team player; capable of fast-paced projects.
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders across levels.
• Strong negotiation, conflict management, and presentation skills with CLIENT and others.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; interpret data-driven dashboards (Power BI) and prepare executive presentations.

Key Requirements:

• a. Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in construction for large scale building project.
• b. Possess an Architectural degree recognized by the Board of Architects .
• c. Successfully completed at least three projects at the construction and handover stages.
• d. Self-motivated, driven and possess good analytical skills as well as able to synthesize data from Common Data Environment /EDMS/Primavera P6 to identify project coordination risks.
• e. Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications and requirements.
• f. Proficient in navigating BIM models and approved Electronic
• g. Document Management System (EDMS such as Bentley ProjectWise) to review technical drawings, specifications, RFI/RFA (Request for Information/Approval) and other project related statuses.
• h. Able to work independently, a strong team player and capable to handle fast paced projects.
• i.Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, enabling collaboration with stakeholders across all levels.
• j. Strong negotiation, conflict management, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with CLIENT, and other stakeholders.
• k. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office,with the abilityto interpret data-driven dashboards (Power BI) and to prepare executive-level presentations.
