Job summary

The Robotics and Autonomous Systems Division at the Institute for Infocomm Research, A*STAR, Singapore, invites applications for a research scientist position focusing on Embodied AI and fast action and reaction models.

You will develop novel architectures, conduct simulations and real-data experiments, and integrate solutions into robotic systems for testing, evaluation and benchmarking, collaborating with other researchers and stakeholders to enable translation or adoption.

Qualifications

• PhD in Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Science/Engineering, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• Strong background and research experience in Embodied AI, Robotics Foundation Model or related research with good publication track record.
• Strong software development skills in C/C++, Python, PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Research and development of novel architectures or models.
• Collaborate with researchers to conduct simulation and data collection and testing.
• Integrate solutions into robotic systems for testing, evaluation and benchmarking.
• Work with stakeholders to enable translation or adoption of developed solutions.
