Job summary

HATCHEVENT PTE. LTD. is building a scalable online marketplace and seeks an Operations Manager to oversee marketplace workflows, vendor onboarding, listings, and order fulfilment.

You will partner with product, tech, finance, and marketing to maintain data quality, generate weekly reports, develop SOPs, and drive process improvements while supporting sellers and buyers in a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in operations, e-commerce, marketplace, event management or startup environments.
• A-Levels or Polytechnic Diploma preferred.
• Commitment to work diligently and independently.
• Remote working is expected 75% of the time; weekends/public holidays work may be required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee marketplace operations including order flows, onboarding, listings, and fulfillment.
• Maintain adherence to SLAs and quality standards; identify bottlenecks and propose improvements.
• Support vendors and customers with payments, orders, listings, and platform navigation.
• Track metrics, prepare weekly/monthly reports, and ensure data cleanliness.
• Create and maintain SOPs; collaborate with product/tech and other teams during feature rollouts.
