Job summary

Tailscale is seeking a Director, APAC Go-to-Market to build and lead our APAC GTM from Singapore. You will set the regional strategy, recruit and lead the initial team, and own the pipeline and revenue targets while collaborating with global Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.

You will directly engage with customers and partners, shaping opportunities and driving strategic deals, while shaping regional success through cross-functional leadership and data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Sales or a broader GTM organization across APAC.
• Proven track record of owning and exceeding pipeline and revenue targets in a B2B tech business.
• Deep familiarity with APAC markets and multi-country/culture operation, esp. Singapore and SE Asia.
• Established relationships within regional channel and partner ecosystems with commercial impact.
• Strong GTM network in the region and ability to attract top sellers and SEs.
• Experience selling highly technical products to sophisticated buyers (infrastructure, networking, security, cloud).
• Strong commercial judgment: forecasting, unit economics, and market prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Own the APAC number: pipeline creation and revenue growth with forecasting discipline.
• Build and execute APAC go-to-market strategy across markets, segments, and routes to market.
• Build and lead a high-performing regional GTM organization. Develop and manage regional sales teams.
• Lead from the front with customers and executive sponsor strategic accounts.
• Establish Tailscale presence in APAC with customers, partners, and events.
• Provide regional voice on product, packaging, marketing, partnerships, and investments.
• Plan long-term regional capabilities and investments for scalable growth.
