Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Commercial Counsel to support its AI-lab with commercial documents. The role is part-time, fully remote, and compensates at $100 per hour, up to $2,000 per week.

Expect 5–20 hours per week, with responsibility for reviewing, negotiating, and refining contracts and related documents. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in transactional law or contracts management, with direct ownership of redlining and due diligence, plus excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a transactional attorney or contracts manager reviewing commercial agreements.
• Direct ownership of redlining, negotiating, or diligence-reviewing contracts.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
• Perform contract redlines, due-diligence issue lists, memos, clause-risk analyses, NDA/vendor review, and renewal trackers.
